Fiber Internet

Fiber internet uses fiber-optic cables to transmit data using light signals, offering faster speeds and more reliable connections than traditional copper cables like DSL or cable. It provides a more stable and higher bandwidth for internet use, even during peak hours.

Net Doctors offers fiber internet speeds ranging from 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps, ensuring high-speed, uninterrupted internet for both personal and business use.

Fiber internet availability depends on your location. Contact us to find out if fiber service is available in your area or to inquire about installation options.

Wireless Internet

Wireless internet uses radio waves to transmit internet signals to devices without the need for physical cables. It is commonly used in homes, offices, and large areas where running cables would be difficult or impractical.

At Net Doctors, we provide high-speed, reliable wireless internet that supports video calls, file transfers, remote desktop access, and all the tools you need for remote work. Our network is designed to minimize lag and interruptions, so you can stay productive without worrying about dropped connections.

We provide wireless internet in select areas of Oconnee County and some of its surrounding locations. Contact us to verify service availability in your area.

Internet Troubleshooting

Slow internet can be frustrating! Here are some common reasons and quick solutions:

Too many devices connected: If multiple people are streaming, gaming, or downloading at once, it can slow things down. Try pausing other activities to see if your speed improves.

Wi-Fi signal issues: Walls and distance can weaken your signal. Move closer to your router or try rebooting your equipment.

Background updates or downloads: Devices like phones, game consoles, or computers may be updating software without you realizing it. Pause updates or downloads to free up bandwidth.

Need a reboot: Sometimes, the Ubiquiti equipment or router needs a fresh start. Unplug them for 30 seconds, then plug them back in.

If you’ve tried these steps and it’s still slow, contact our support team at 864-882-1650 for help. We’ll work to get your speeds back up!

Try these quick steps to restore your connection:

Check the power: Make sure your Ubiquiti equipment and router are plugged in and powered on.

Look for lights: If there are no lights on the equipment, check the power cable and outlet.

Restart your equipment:
-Unplug the power cable from your Ubiquiti device and router.
-Wait 30 seconds.
-Plug them back in, starting with the Ubiquiti device first, then your router.

Give it time: It may take a couple of minutes for the connection to come back.

If your internet still isn’t working after these steps, feel free to contact our support team at 864-882-1650. We’re happy to help you get back online!
